Cone 04 Mini Box (50) ~1070oC

For indication of heat work in the kiln. At set temperature rates it indicates temperature as it bends. Also used in Kiln Sitters
This cone will bend tip to toe at the stated temperature when fired at 150^oC/hr and set correctly - refer Orton website

It is important that when using kiln sitters that the cone is positioned correctly and consistently to achieve the correct firing results (heat work)
