Japanese Platemakers are wooden press moulds in shapes and sizes to suit every project from individual piece to batch production.

Simply roll your slabs, allow to firm up, then using the wooden platemaker and the special sponge you can simply "press" the shape into the sponge and on releasing the pressure - there you have your formed piece!
