Premium Quality now blended in Australia. A highly plastic volcanic colloidal clay, used as a suspending agent in glazes (2-3%) but it must be added to the dry ingredients. When added to a clay body, it improves plasticity. It has a high shrinkage at stoneware temperatures. Also known as Fullers Earth in some glaze recipes.
