A beautiful Professional Black Smooth clay designed for 1100 to 1260oC from the United Kingdom.....Black Smooth contains a fine grog which gives a close texture to the body and a fine surface to finished pieces.
This smooth finish should appeal to hand builders or sculptors who produce tile and relief panels or ceramic murals.
AM680 has been formulated to fire between 1080 - 1260ºC.
For a crystal clear finish over this body avoid glazes containing Zinc: 5381 is recommended.
Scarva state that Professional Black Clay bodies, PF660, PF670 & PF680 are not suitable for making Domestic Tableware.
